Dad and A Soufflé

June 16th we celebrated Father's Day. I always bake on special occasions, so I baked my dad something instead of cake... A soufflé! It was my first time baking a soufflé and I was so happy with how it baked to perfection. No screw ups and on the first try, perfection, sweet perfection.

But it seems my dad and I were the only ones who really liked it (so I believe) everyone else is damn picky with their food, it feels like a mission trying to figure out what to feed the siblings, mom and nonna. *sigh* At least you run into a bit of luck when they finally like something.

But enough of my ranting, here are the photos I took and clumped together into a nice edited photo or photo grid.

Green, Green... I Must See Green!

Since I could remember, I've always been a fanatic of the color green, considering how much it surrounds me (pupil color, bed comforter, outdoors..) - yeah, yeah.. I think they've heard enough of you babbling.

Any who, I really hate it when I cannot find a header or background image for my blog or desktop on my laptop, so I'm happy that there's http://pizap.com/ for my creative and always buzzing brain where I can upload photos, edit them to my liking and create my own images that are unlike anything. Nothing new there of course since everyone is so enraptured with their own selfish, narcissistic selves and must haves to show who's who and/or what. I cannot deny it either, considering that I know myself too well and know for a fact that it's also a part of me, but I'm at least not a total ass about it, as most people. Sorry, but I have to rat you out.

But enough with straying away (geez, now I know why my friends hold onto my chain at conventions) ahh.. getting back on track, before I exploded like the revolting slob from Crashbox, as I mentioned before hand I love color green yet, where I was getting to.. I wasn't content with my previous header for my main blog http://izcentric.wordpress.com/ and since I have the font in the color green not too mention I seem to be in that mood that everything has too be green; I wanted something way out there or something that stood out.

I'm happy I found something that got the job done, after editing of course. Now my brain can rest a bit on the thought of "green, green... I MUST SEE GREEN!" Here's the previous image, before the editing.

Here Comes The Zombies

Having an artistic side is a ton of fun and saves the psyche from going crazy and keeps you from feeling bored 24/7. I don't know how I'd survive all these years if I didn't have my drawing/ painting skills or artist side to my personality. Without it, I wouldn't be who I am and I most definitely would more than likely be a boring old crab that lies beneath a bunch of boulders or rocks waiting for the sun and moon to rise and set.

If you ask me, that doesn't sound all to exciting, but at least there's great photo opportunity there! (The optimism is a usual thing).

Any who, since I obviously lost my train of thought there, to get back on track, I pretty much got a little creative today with making a new header for my main blog http://izcentric.wordpress.com/ or just for fun (as I usually tend to do) and www.pizap.com seems to meet my needs since photobucket has no longer been the same ( as I ranted on about in my main blog a while ago http://izcentric.wordpress.com/2012/12/11/crash-again-photobucket-are-you-faulty/).

Shame really that it's gone to the dumps, but oh well; I found myself a new website and it's a lot of fun and full of new/creative ways to add my artistic flair! Wihoo!

Neat isn't it?! Okay, may not be outrageous, especially since it was a middle of the night thing, but I like it! Zombie hands coming after defenseless me sitting on a staircase while modeling away. haha

 

Well it's off to sleep, I'm awfully tired and tomorrow there's quite a lot that needs to be done on the main blog and two articles to be sent in for an edit. Damn rain storms (though great) haven't been too kind to the wifi.. >,.,<
